Frequently Asked Questions

What are the differences between each model of coffee maker?
Some make 2 cups while some exclusively make 1 cup. Furthermore, some of the 2-cup models have a resin filter while others have a metal filter. See the pages for each product and select the one that best fits your needs.
There is oil floating in the coffee after it’s done dripping
These are fats and oils from the coffee grounds. These fats and oils are part of coffee’s true flavor and aroma, so you can drink it without worry.
Coffee isn’t evenly brewed into the 2 cups
There may be some discrepancy, but see the following tips for how to make the cups as equal as possible.
・Evenly add coffee grounds into the stainless steel gold filter.
・Use the main body on a level surface.
It doesn’t operate.
Check that the power cord is plugged in.
Coffee overflows from the cup.
This may be due to adding too much water to the water tank. Measure and use the appropriate amount of water.
Coffee grounds overflow from the filter.
The cause may be using too many coffee grounds, or using coffee grounds that are too fine. There is also a possibility that the removable filter holder is not completely set into the main body. Adjust the amount of coffee grounds, or check that the removable filter holder is properly attached.
Brewing takes too much time.
This may be due to blockage in the pipe due to water mineral residue. Use a mixture of citric acid and water (3 parts water, 1 part citric acid), and run the drip process without adding coffee grounds. When it starts to run better, run one more drip process at the end with water only, to rinse away the citric acid solution. For each drip process, let the main body cool before running it.
